Our recent innovations address important trends, including higher autoclave temperatures and enhanced processing for large parts and difficult geometries and extended offerings for compliance with environmental regulations.

Gharda offers plastics that meet the stringent requirements of the medical market. These plastics are autoclavable upto 220°C; lightweight; provide dimensional stability; and offer chemical resistance. We have many polymer grades which are FDA compliant. Gharda plastics can be found in a diversity of products, including surgical tools, sanitary seals or gaskets, and orthopaedic components.

Based on biocompatibility testing as defined by ISO 10993:1, our healthcare plastics demonstrate no evidence of cytotoxicity, sensitization, intracutaneous reactivity or acute systemic toxicity. They can be sterilized using all conventional sterilization methods, including steam, ethylene oxide, vaporized hydrogen peroxide and gamma radiation.
